Intersection Modifications

During the 1999-2000 period, the City of Ottawa undertook to improve the intersections of King Edward at Rideau Street and at St. Patrick Street. The Task Force was against the modifications at St. Patrick street, because it was felt that increased the highway-like environment on King Edward Avenue. The Task Force's concerns were not heeded.
