Speeding Survey
After years of complaints about speeding on King Edward Avenue, the Task Force decided to purchase a radar gun and measure the speeds. This action was also a result of the City's failure to control speeds on the on and off ramps to the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge and to install a crosswalk at Cathcart Street. The City was also uncooperative in providing the speed data it already had on file. The data collected will be used to determine where speeding is taking place and to make recommendations for reducing speeding.
