Vibrations

Concerns regarding vibrations, mostly due to large trucks and buses continues. Residents have complained about dishes moving in cabinets, potential damage to property, and floors shaking. Previous studies have shown negligible vibrations, but they do exist. It is hoped that the new pavement being placed on the renewed roadway will reduce vibrations. Other actions, such as controlling excessive speeds, limiting the size of trucks on the avenue, and increasing the distance between the road and homes would also contribute to reducing vibrations.
